Garifuna Settlement Day Parade

Directions

It is now one of Belize’s biggest and most celebrated parades.🖤🤍💛

We are located in the Culture Capital, Dangriga, and are responsible for planning the Garifuna Settlement Day parade on behalf of the National Garifuna Council.

12/07/2026

We stand in solidarity with our Garifuna brothers and sisters of San Juan, Honduras.

Join us for a peaceful protest on Tuesday, July 14. Please see the flyer for event details.

Together, let us stand united in defense of our rights, our ancestral lands, and our voices.

Our Rights. Our Land. Our Voices. 🖤🤍💛

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Allan “Baba” Castillo. Thank you for your invaluable contributions to our Garifuna culture and for your participation in the 19th parade throughout the years. May he rest in eternal peace. Wasati Bemeri. 🙏🏾
