First clean up for 2025! Nubueritinu in collaboration with the Dangriga Town Council and the Department of Environment conducted a nationwide clean up campaign. One group participated with this clean up where one group cleaned from the beach area from Alejo Beni Park to Southside beach while another group cleaned Magoon St. Tubroose Street and Havana Road. Both groups met up at Havana Southside beach to end off the clean up campaign.
At the end of the campaign our group picked up over 65 lbs of garbage from the areas we cleaned. We would like to take this time to encourage our community to properly dispose of garbage to keep Dangriga a clean town.
Our group is looking forward to working with community stakeholders looking to promote environmental, educational and cultural experiences for the youth of Dangriga Town.
