MISSION STATEMENT
Caring for Youths and Elderly Foundation: will seek to elevate the Youth and Elderly in service to their fellow man and country, thereby leading to a better community and the building of a better Belize
Long Term Goals and Objectives
• The Foundation will seek to establish and grant scholarships for needy students. It will provide book grants and assist in other vital areas of education which are not being satisfied:
• The Foundation will work hand in hand with other similarly focused groups
• The Foundation will establish a feeding program (Grocery Drive) for the needy and In particular, it will seek to assist in the Elderly people from the Unitedville community and other municipalities where this problem exists. This initiative, in cooperation with other agencies, will also seek to place them in proper care centres where their physical, emotional and mental needs will be met. This will necessitate the provision of on-going counselling, as elderly people are also mentally and psychologically challenged..
• It will promote a National Adoption Policy in which the more affluent of the society will be encouraged to adopt a child from a poor family and bring them into their family and nurture them to adulthood as an integral part of their family. In doing so, we will be working in a tangible manner, to change the trajectory of many of our youth who are living on the margins of society and in troubled homes and communities.
