This forenoon we visited a farm and enjoyed coconuts and sugarcane and watched monkeys howler nearby and heard about Belizean history. In the afternoon we put on a free clinic in a Spanish village. It’s been a great Easter Saturday.

Yesterday consisted of loving on a village in the form@of school presentations, house visits and a poop-up clinic.

Living conditions can be shocking for visiting missionaries, dirt floors, no running water, poor transportation, little food, unsanitary/muddy yard and roads, and more.

Needs can seem overwhelming and the help needed endless, but Paul said he could be content in any situation if we had God with him. So the most important gift we can give a poor family is the gift of God’s presence. Gods presence can be shared through prayer, songs, bibles, notes, smiles, hugs, words of encouragement and more. The most valuable gift does not have monetary value, A joyful heart can bear up under harsh conditions while depression can be overcoming. So come prayed up and ready to love with heavenly love and plan to give physical gifts on the side as well as a plus.

It’s a rainy August morning in Belize, rainy days don’t last here, we expect the sun to come out soon and dry out the wet dirt roads, the birds seems to have the same hope according to their happy songs. In the meantime the cool air is refreshing after a hot sunny week.
