Belize mourns the passing of Milagro Garel, a devoted champion for children whose life was dedicated to bringing hope and life-saving care to families across the country.

Milagro passed away peacefully today Monday, August 31, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle following a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.

For more than 20 years, she worked tirelessly to help Belizean children access medical care that could change—and save—their lives.

Her compassion touched countless families, and her legacy of love and service will live on in the lives she helped.

Rest peacefully, Milagro. Your light will not be forgotten.

These were such an amazing learning tool to have received for our little brainers entering Pre School.

My name is Martha Usher, and my publication is Ethan's Little Hands Learning Folder
Inspired by Ethan’s Learning Journey.
I created the learning folder during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we decided to keep our 3-year-old son at home. I wanted to create hands-on, reusable learning resources that would allow me to teach him the basics for preschool at home in a fun and engaging way.
While searching for ideas, I came across a similar concept and was inspired to create my own learning folder. Over time, friends and family began seeing how I was using the resources with my children and started asking me to make folders for their children, nieces, and nephews.
Today, my mission is to make learning easier, more engaging, and accessible for children, including children who need that extra support.
