✨ Braids, Cuts & Glow Up – Back to School Initiative ✨
Today, the Public Service Union of Belize, Belmopan Branch Executive proudly hosted our free back-to-school event, “Braids, Cuts & Glow Up”, at the Mae Gordon Park in Belmopan.
This initiative provided free haircuts for boys and braids for girls, helping prepare them with confidence for the reopening of school.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:
💚 Tishawn's Natural Hair Growth, owned and managed by Nirisi Santino
💚 Braider: Sherry Valario
💚 Barbers: Connor Vernon & Rudolph Pook
💚 Superintendent Aaron Gamboa, for generously donating school supplies for the children
💚 Our Branch Executive Young Worker’s Representative, Bro. Akeem Jenkins, and Women’s Representative, Sis. Cadia Estrada, who were instrumental in initiating and leading this program today 🙌
Your dedication, outstanding service, and support truly made this initiative a success.
We also thank our members for showing up and supporting this effort. Together we make a positive impact in our community. 💛💚
The event was a wonderful success, and we are honoured to be giving back.✨
