As we continue through the month of July, we warmly remind everyone to wear blue every Friday in support of the Blue Teddy Bear Campaign and Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness.
The campaign has already seen an inspiring start. During the first week, The Right Honorable Prime Minister John Briceño proudly wore blue and visited The Ice Cream Shoppe, which partnered with the campaign to create the special Blue Teddy Bear Ice Cream in support of raising awareness. We have also been encouraged by the participation of organizations including the Belize Family Life Association (BFLA), Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), students, and many other individuals who have joined this important movement.
Now, we invite you to be part of this growing national effort.
When you wear blue, take a photo with your colleagues, classmates, friends, or family and help spread the message of protecting children and standing against human trafficking.
You can:
Tag NCFC Belize and UNICEF Belize when sharing your photos on social media; or
Email your photos to [email protected] for us to feature on our official platforms.
Every photo shared helps amplify the message and inspires others to take part. Your support demonstrates a collective commitment to creating a safer Belize for every child.
Thank you for standing with us and helping make a positive impact. Together, let's continue turning Belize blue throughout July.
