BERT Belize Belize Emergency Response Team is a non-profit NGO providing life saving emergency medical services Saving lives and quality of lives in Belize is our mission.

Emergency medical service (EMS), as a profession, is just over a decade old in Belize. We have created an industry, which is now at a critical juncture. We acknowledge the enormous debt of gratitude that we owe to our predecessors, who started EMS movement back around the 1950s internationally and our own Belizean pioneers taking up the challenge since the late 1990s, for the astounding progress that has been made. WE also extend sincere appreciation to the Wagner Foundation, Wings of Hope Inc., Rotary Club of Belize and Ministry of Health, Government of Belize for having the vision and the placing the confidence in our ability to make a difference. Regardless of patient's ability to pay, BERT continues to serve those in need of urgent medical care.
