The actual Name of the Ministry was given to Malcolm and Anita Sobers in 1983 on the Dutch Island of St Maarten, while the Vision was later confirmed 5 years after i in 1988 in the United Kingdom, followed by the commissioning a year later. COM actually started in 1989 when Malcolm, Anita and family were commissioned by Apostle Phil Mohabir and the Apostolic team in Guyana SA to start their Apostolic mission to the Caribbean based on the Island of Barbados. What started as an insignificant Ministry grew in influence through seminars, Conferences and Missions activity spread across the entire English Speaking Caribbean, with some spill overs to Dutch, French and Spanish speaking Nations. Barbados, Antigua, and Guyana were the main bases, until they moved to Belize CA in 2000. COM's main thrust has always been Leadership development and helping persons in Five fold ministry, training, mentoring, encouraging, commissioning, and healing hurting and wounded. As we look back at the 26 years of COM, we are bound to give thanks to God for His Grace and mercy. Malcolm's Horizontal Apostolic ministry has both given birth to a number of sons and daughters in the faith, as well as taken on spiritual orphans by adopting, encouraging them. the Ministry has brought healing to the hurting and wounded, several of those men and women are now serving in leadership roles in the church and other Ministries. Organizational Changes -Grace Apostolic Prophetic Network (www.gapnet.org) was designed to express the Father heart of God through Malcolm's Ministry in 2014,and beyond. COM, Together In Ministry(TIM) and other related 5 fold Ministers are now part of this wider expression. through the vehicle of COM gave birth to, and encouraged and supported several existing ministries in the region. Together In Ministry(TIM) has played a key role in unity and encouraging leaders to work together for the Kingdom, and the Body of Christ. GAPNET is now the parent body of both TIM and COM. Please pray for the fulfillment of this vision for the Caribbean and the Nations.
