🚨 URGENT NOTICE : POSTPONEMENT OF GOO-MOREMI HERITAGE HIKE AND CAMP ⛺🥾

The BIUST Hiking Club & Maratyane Heritage Village regrets to inform you of our decision to postpone the Goo Moremi Heritage Hike and Camp billed for 27-29 March 2026.

Due to the heavy rains experienced these past weeks, the gorges are heavily flooding and posing a safety risk to hikers as both trails (Map of Africa and San Francisco) have been affected.

The event has therefore been postponed to May 1st-May 3rd 2026. Your registration remains valid until the new date and for T-shirt collections,your orders will be ready by Friday 27 March and can be collected/delivered after the mentioned date.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this sudden change and for any clarification you may contact the numbers on all event flyers.

The BIUST Hiking Club this weekend spent their Valentine's Day traversing the deep, lovely and rocky terrains of Pilane and Serowe respectfully🥾

In support of the Serowe Hiking Club's "Valentine and Dine Hike" and the Kgatleng Hiking Club BW's "Machechele Dam Hike" , we got to spend the day with our most loved-NATURE 🫂❤️

We would love to express great gratitude to our hosts, the organisers and the hikers we got to mingle with on these trails 😊❤️

The BIUST Hiking Club joined in on The Family Hike by Keep Walking Club in Gaborone Dam this past weekend; a family-friendly hike that saw us accompanying "Little Hikers" 🤸🏾🧗🏾 to play in the mud and water as they should!🧘🏾❤️

We are very much elated to have been part of this amazing experience😊❤️ and we wish to express great gratitude to the organizers of this event👏🏾
