OPERATION: HAND OVER THE UNWANTED MATERIALS

Palapye Junior Secondary School conducted a clean-up campaign on Friday, 28 August 2026, aimed at removing unwanted materials from students and creating a clean, safe and conducive learning environment.
The operation was initiated as part of the school’s efforts to maintain discipline, promote cleanliness and create an environment that supports effective teaching and learning. The initiative also forms part of the school’s broader strategy to map a way forward towards achieving improved academic results.
The Operation Hand Over the Unwanted Materials yielded positive results and provided valuable insight into the nature of materials some students carry to school. The exercise has therefore highlighted the need for continued monitoring, guidance and awareness among learners.
The school remains committed to creating a safe, disciplined and focused learning environment where every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

CLASS OF 1985 DONATES PHOTOCOPYING PAPERS AND MUSIC RECORDERS TO PALAPYE JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Class of 1985, a group made up of former Palapye Junior Secondary School graduates, has donated 15 boxes of photocopying paper and music recorder instruments to Palapye Junior Secondary School.
The donation was handed over last Friday as part of the class’s commitment to supporting the school in achieving its vision of transforming and taking PSS back to the top.
The photocopying paper and music recorders are expected to assist the school with its administrative and educational activities, especially as students prepare to sit for their final Junior Certificate (JC) examinations.
During the handover ceremony, members of the Class of 1985 encouraged students to remain focused, work hard and strive for excellence, reminding them that good academic results can open doors to successful careers and brighter futures.
The former students also pledged to continue supporting the school and promised to reward top-performing learners during future school prize-giving ceremonies.
The school expressed its appreciation for the generous contribution, saying partnerships such as these play an important role in improving the learning environment and motivating students to achieve their goals.
