EWB-BIUST is an EWB International affiliated university chapter that sets to edge student engineers in Botswana to respond to world wide problems involving science and technology.The purpose of EWB-BIUST is to serve the needs of disadvantaged communities and people through engineering projects which are grassroots and small and are not usually addressed by in-country consulting firms in other wor

ds they are
not competing with private engineering firms. The mandate of EWB-BIUST is to;

1.To use engineering skills to establish and promote development of human centered, economical and sustainable engineering projects for communities in need.

2.To expose engineering students to practical work concerning various engineering disciplines.

3.To create a platform that will aid in formation of partnership between students and professional engineers.
