The theme of the United Nations International Day of Cooperatives 2026 is:

“Cooperatives for a peaceful world!”

💡 This year’s theme highlights the role that can play by fostering social justice, inclusion, democratic participation and solidarity.

The theme also resonates deeply with the founding principle of the International Labour Organization: universal and lasting peace can be established only if it is based on social justice.

Cooperatives have long been key actors in building more just, inclusive and peaceful societies. As democratic, people-centred institutions, they enable participation across all sectors of society and help build the social infrastructure needed for lasting peace.

Continuation of the Story.. part 2

So the founding members build a dream and went out looking for people to join them...kana akere koporase e registeriwa ke 10people or more...they added their friends and church mates ebe go nna lovely, obviously you know its for a short period of time😔.

They got registered and got their certificate 2yrs later😁 (story for another day) and ka nako eo, setse palo e ntsi ya 10 eo e hedile pelo e tlogetse🤣🤣 so they need more people...they seek other people jaanong hoo they know gore they must comply. Kana regulator e bogale loneng heee!

So they embark on getting more members and applying for LEA incubation as individuals....to learn akere ka go lema ditamati and stuff? Yeah...

Now they are qualified Farmers, plus their degrees wa bona? Go s***a eng? Madi le lefatshe le ba tla lemang mo go lone 🤣🤣🤣 stick around for part 3... because go nna serious jaanong🤨
