BTU AND DIAGNOFIRM RENEW THEIR PARTNERSHIP

On Tuesday, the Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) and Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The renewal of the MoU follows the two parties' assessment of the first MoU, signed in 2022.

The partnership with Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories provides BTU members with discounted professional laboratory services, disease awareness campaigns, workplace health talks, and health risk assessments.

In his remarks at the signing ceremony, Secretary General Comrade Norman Baraedi said the partnership has yielded positive outcomes for both organisations, and "our members have benefited from using Diagnofirm medical facilities to manage their health and medical conditions proactively."

Comrade Baraedi said that many BTU members who came for medical assistance have been helped, among other things, to understand health and medical conditions they were previously unaware of. "This has helped them to seek medical attention well in time," he noted.

The two parties have signed a 5-year partnership agreement running from August 2026 to August 2031.

HEALTHCARE BENEFITS LAUNCH FOR MEMBERS

Today, Botswana Teachers Union (BTU) leadership is at Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories to renew their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In 2022, BTU and Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories agreed to offer members seeking medical care at discounted rates without the fear of further financial burden.

Following the review of the previous agreement, the two parties will sign a 5-year partnership agreement running from August 2026 to August 2031.
