OFFICIAL STATEMENT: CANCELLATION OF MISS MOGAPI 2025

We regret to announce the cancellation of this year’s Miss Mogapi event due to a low number of individuals who showed interest in participating.

This platform was established to grow and showcase talent, aiming to give Mogapi a voice and representation at national and international levels. While we’ve seen moments of progress, this year’s response has shown us that more work is needed to build community involvement and engagement. One of the challenges remains the lack of consistent support, especially from parents and guardians whose encouragement plays a vital role in empowering young participants.

As part of our commitment to growth, we are considering rebranding and possibly changing the name of Miss Mogapi to a more inclusive title that will allow individuals from surrounding areas and across Botswana to take part in future editions. Our goal is to create a platform that embraces wider representation while staying rooted in our founding vision.

We would like to sincerely thank our sponsors and partners who have stood by us on this journey. Your support has helped us take meaningful steps, and we are truly grateful.

This is not the end. Please be on the lookout for new registration dates in 2026 as we work to rebuild and come back stronger than ever.

Agape Love,
Miss Mogapi Team✨
