Stepping Stones International SSI is a non-governmental, civil society organisation, founded in 2006 that benefits young people.

About Stepping Stones International (SSI)

Stepping Stones International (SSI) was the first program of its kind in Botswana focused exclusively on adolescent and youth development. We use a holistic, human centered design approach to implementation, as well as data driven programs to reach vulnerable girls, boys and families. The impact made in young people's lives is evident through the 73% of youth who return to school, attain jobs or start businesses as a result of participating in our programs. Households experience a reduction in violence in the family unit and community members such as grandmothers are engaged in child protection.

Kgatleng Team Hosts Institute for Chartered Accountants Boys’ Talk 💙

Last week, 41 young men gathered for something important: a space where they felt valued, heard, and supported.

Our Kgatleng team partnered with BICA for “As Majita – For the Forgotten Boy Child”, because young men deserve mentorship and care.

A total of 41 SSI participants attended the session: 26 In-School participants and 15 out-of-school participants from the Economic Advancement and Leadership (EAL) program. As part of the initiative, our amazing participants received bags and toiletries as gifts, reinforcing the message of care, dignity, and support.

Impactful collaborations like this allow us to build stronger communities. 🙏 Thank you .
