World Cancer Day | 💕
Today, I stand not just as a cancer survivor, but as proof that strength does not look the same on everyone🥺
My cancer journey reshaped my body, my plans, and my understanding of life but it never took my purpose. Through surgeries, a metal prosthesis, motherhood, advocacy, and telling my story even when it was uncomfortable, I’ve learned that survival is not about being fearless. It’s about choosing to keep going, even when the path looks different from everyone else’s🥰
This year’s World Cancer Day theme, , speaks deeply to me. Every cancer journey is personal. Every scar, setback, and victory carries its own meaning. Yet in our uniqueness, we find unity—in awareness, compassion, research, and hope💓
My work in cancer awareness and activism is rooted in truth: cancer changes you, but it does not define or diminish you. It can coexist with dreams, leadership, creativity, and love. It can exist alongside strength, softness, and resilience🥺
Today, I honour every fighter, every survivor, every caregiver, and every life we’ve lost. Your story matters. Your journey matters. You matter.
Let’s continue to advocate, educate, and support one another because while our journeys are unique, none of us walk alone.
💛
