Face to Face with Hon MP Mr Mpho Morolong on issues of national concern- challenges and needs of persons with disabilities in Mochudi; stigma and discrimination against them in the community, schools and other environments call for a Massive Campaogn and education in Mochudi, with a view to stop all forms of discrimination against persons with disabilities. Hon MP Morolong is in discussion with PWDs and key stakeholders to debottleneck challenges experienced by the key and Vulnerable Populations particularly PWDs.

1. Segale Primary School was the first place we touched; Disability Rights are Human Rights Too. A lot still needs to be done to educate the community about Stigma and Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities. Remember We are All Human Beings irrespective of gender, s*xual orientation and the like.
2. Mabodisa Ward was the other place we visited to engage on inclusive employment. The leadership agreed that PWDs should be given equal opportunities in all spheres on life. A Kgotla meeting to be called soon to conclude on strengthening disability mainstreaming in community development.

Our Gratitute Goes to Kgafela Primary School for hosting Mccg. The little minds were at work, the Special Class learners were in agreement with the the 8 principles ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities.

They shared their experiences with stigma and discrimination at school, and in the community. Education on stigma and discrimination is over due in schools snd communities to make a better world for persons with disabilities.

Special class teacher and the Board member who took part in the discussion were resourceful and were ready to engage more on requirements of Disability Act 2024
