By Sister Kessy

Sister Kessy delivered a powerful message encouraging believers to remain steadfast in their faith and never give up on God, regardless of the circumstances they may face. She highlighted that one of the devilโ€™s primary tactics is to discourage Godโ€™s children and cause them to lose hope. However, as believers, we are called to stand firm, knowing that God remains faithful and His promises will surely come to pass.

Drawing from Psalm 27:13-14, she urged Christians to be courageous, wait patiently upon the Lord, and trust in His timing. She emphasized that challenges, opposition, and discouraging words from others should never cause us to abandon our faith.

Referencing Ecclesiastes 7:20-23, she reminded the congregation that people may speak negatively about us, but we must not allow their remarks to weaken our resolve. Instead, we should remain focused on God and His purpose for our lives.

From Isaiah 40:28-31, she encouraged believers not to lose heart because God renews the strength of those who trust in Him. She assured the congregation that great things are ahead and that Godโ€™s favor surrounds those who remain faithful.

Using John 5:5-9, she taught that unwavering faith in God is necessary to overcome lifeโ€™s challenges. She warned that the enemy often attacks our thoughts with doubt and discouragement in an attempt to derail our spiritual journey. When we surrender to those thoughts, we risk opening doors for the enemy to influence our lives.

She further explained, through examples from 1 Samuel, Exodus, and Nehemiah, that trials and hardships are sometimes allowed by God to test and strengthen our faith. Just as God led His people through difficult situations, He also uses challenges to build perseverance, obedience, and spiritual maturity within us.

Sister Kessy encouraged believers to remain obedient to Godโ€™s commands, trust His guidance, and keep their hearts and eyes fixed on Him. She emphasized that every instruction from God carries purpose and leads to His divine plan.

Key Lessons

* Never give up on God, regardless of your circumstances.
* Be patient and courageous as you wait for Godโ€™s intervention.
* Do not allow negative words or opposition to discourage you.
* Difficulties are often opportunities for spiritual growth and stronger faith.
* Remain obedient to Godโ€™s instructions and trust His timing.
* Keep your focus on God and refuse to let the enemy steal your hope.

Conclusion

No matter the trials, setbacks, or challenges we encounter, we must continue trusting in the Lord. Our breakthrough, favor, and victory are found in perseverance, patience, and unwavering faith in God. As believers, we are called to endure, knowing that God is working all things together for our good.

Declaration:
โ€œI refuse to give up in my life. No matter the situation, patience and strong faith are my portion, for my success is just around the corner.โ€

What a beautiful and memorable day we had at our Friends In The Lord Youth Gathering held at Metsimotlhabe Community Hall under the theme John 15:12โ€“17.

The event was filled with joy, love, fellowship, and the presence of God as young people from various churches came together to strengthen friendships and grow spiritually. We were honored to host youth from Apostolic Faith Mission Metsimotlhabe, Apostolic Faith Mission Kopong Branch, Holiness Union Church Kopong, Reigning Kingdom Ministries, and other fellowships who joined us for this special occasion.

A highlight of the day was the insightful sermon delivered by Sister Maranyane Marope, who shared a powerful message on godly friendships and challenged the youth to remain steadfast in prayer and committed to their walk with Christ. Her message inspired meaningful reflection and encouraged young people to deepen their relationship with God.

The gathering was also filled with exciting games and interactive activities that promoted teamwork, unity, and bonding among the youth. New friendships were formed, existing ones were strengthened, and the atmosphere was marked by laughter, encouragement, and genuine fellowship.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to making this event a success. Special appreciation goes to the visiting churches and youth leaders whose presence enriched the gathering and demonstrated the unity of the Body of Christ.
Above all, we thank God for His guidance, protection, and blessings throughout the day.
Indeed, Friends In The Lord was more than an eventโ€”it was a celebration of faith, friendship, and unity in Christ.

Scriptures: Hosea 10:11; Jeremiah 4:3-4

This Sunday, Apostle Koosimile delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message centered on the theme โ€œBreak Up Your Fallow Ground.โ€ Drawing from Hosea 10:11 and Jeremiah 4:3-4, he emphasized that just as hard, uncultivated ground must be broken before seeds can take root and flourish, believers must prepare their hearts and lives to receive Godโ€™s blessings and purpose.

The Apostle taught that when the ground is not properly prepared, seeds are easily exposed and consumed by birds. In the same way, an unprepared spiritual life leaves one vulnerable to obstacles that hinder growth and progress. God has entrusted each believer with the responsibility of cultivating their own spiritual ground for a fruitful harvest.

1. Sin and Iniquity

* John 9:31
* Isaiah 59:1-3

Sin creates a separation between us and God, preventing us from fully experiencing His blessings and favor. A life of repentance opens the way for restoration and divine fellowship.

2. Unbelief and Doubt

* Matthew 17:20

Faith is essential for spiritual advancement. Unbelief limits what God can do in our lives, while faith enables us to walk confidently in His promises.

3. Unforgiveness and Grudges

* James 5:16

Harboring bitterness and resentment stagnates spiritual growth. Forgiveness frees the heart and creates room for healing and restoration.

4. Pride

* James 4:6

Pride delays progress and hinders Godโ€™s work in our lives. Humility positions us to receive Godโ€™s grace and direction.

5. Selfish Ambition and Self-Seeking

* James 3:16

Where selfish ambition exists, confusion and disorder follow. God calls His people to pursue His will above personal gain.

6. Spiritual Stagnation

* Song of Solomon 8:8
* 1 Peter 2:1-3

Growth requires a genuine desire for Godโ€™s Word. Just as newborn babies crave milk, believers must hunger for spiritual nourishment to mature in faith.

7. Complaining and Disputing

* Philippians 2:14

A complaining spirit weakens faith and distracts from Godโ€™s goodness. Gratitude and obedience cultivate spiritual strength.

8. Lack of Knowledge

* Hosea 4:6

Ignorance of Godโ€™s Word limits spiritual effectiveness. Continuous learning and study of Scripture equip believers for victorious living.

Breaking up the fallow ground is a personal responsibility. God has prepared a harvest for His people, but each believer must remove the barriers that hinder growth and productivity. Through repentance, faith, forgiveness, humility, spiritual hunger, and a commitment to Godโ€™s Word, we prepare our hearts for the abundant harvest God has ordained.

โ€œBut you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Godโ€™s special possessionโ€ฆโ€ โ€” 1 Peter 2:9

May we continually break up every fallow ground in our lives and position ourselves for Godโ€™s purpose, favor, and increase. Amen.

Today was a momentous and joyous occasion as we celebrated 17 years of God's faithfulness in Metsimotlhabe. We joined together with our brethren from Mogoditshane, Thamaga, Kopong, and Gaborone Holiness Union Churches in a spirit of thanksgiving, unity, and celebration.

We were greatly blessed by a profound teaching from ๐‘จ๐’‘๐’๐’”๐’•๐’๐’† ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘จ. ๐‘ป๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’Œ๐’‚, who ministered on the theme:

The Apostle taught that God's blessings flow where there is honor and unity. Just as the anointing oil flowed from Aaron's head down to his garments, grace and blessings flow where honor is present. Dishonor, however, creates blockages that hinder God's work in our lives.

He defined honor as reverence, recognition, and rewarding the value carried by another person. He emphasized that one cannot walk fully in grace without learning to honor others.

Key lessons from the message included:

Drawing from Genesis 1, John 5:17-18, Exodus 3:1-12, and Acts 1:8, Pastor Tlhalerwa reminded us that God is always at work, even when circumstances seem unchanged. While we may not always see immediate results, God is actively healing, protecting, saving, and preparing His people for His purpose.

The message emphasized that without Godโ€™s power, there is no true movement, and life can become stagnant. However, through the Holy Spirit, transformation takes place. When God works in our lives, favour locates us, opportunities arise, and our lives begin to reflect His glory.

We were also encouraged to discover and use the gifts and talents God has placed within us. Our talents are not only meant for personal growth but are tools that God uses to impact others and bless future generations.

The message reminded us that Barnabas was a man of encouragement who helped raise leaders, believed in people, and kept the mission of God above personal recognition. Through kindness, patience, gentleness, self-control, and love, he became a vessel God used to impact many lives.

Just as Barnabas believed in Paul and gave Mark a second chance, we are also called to encourage, uplift, and make room for others to grow.

Today we celebrated Motherโ€™s Day in a beautiful and blessed way together with all the mothers in the house. We thank God for the gift of mothers โ€” women of strength, prayer, wisdom, and love. The service was filled with encouragement, worship, and powerful reminders to continue walking closely with God.

Key Scriptures & Message Highlights โœจ

1 Peter 5:8-9

โ€œBe sober, be vigilantโ€ฆโ€

We were reminded to stay spiritually alert and prayerful at all times. The enemy seeks to destroy, but as believers we must stand firm in faith and trust in Godโ€™s protection.

Matthew 6:33

โ€œSeek ye first the Kingdom of Godโ€ฆโ€

God must always come first in everything we do. When we prioritize God, He orders our steps and provides for our needs.

Proverbs 3:1-12, 28-29

The message encouraged us to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, walk in wisdom, and treat others with kindness and honesty. Obedience to God brings direction and blessings.

Isaiah 60:1

โ€œArise, shine; for thy light is comeโ€ฆโ€

This was a call for mothers and the church to rise up in purpose, faith, and confidence because Godโ€™s glory is upon His people.

Psalm 127:1

โ€œUnless the Lord builds the houseโ€ฆโ€

Everything we do must be founded in God. Families, homes, and lives can only stand strong when God is at the center.

Psalm 125:1-2

Those who trust in the Lord shall never be shaken. God surrounds and protects His people just as mountains surround Jerusalem.

Ephesians 4:17-32

We were encouraged to put away the โ€œold selfโ€ and renew our minds in Christ. As believers, we should walk in love, humility, gentleness, forgiveness, and righteousness.

Proverbs 18:10

โ€œThe name of the Lord is a strong towerโ€ฆโ€

God remains our refuge and safe place during every season of life.

Matthew 11:28-30

โ€œMy yoke is easy and My burden is light.โ€

Jesus calls us to bring our burdens to Him. In Him we find peace, rest, and comfort.

Mark 10:46-52

The story of blind Bartimaeus reminded us to cry out to Jesus in faith and never give up, because God hears those who call upon Him sincerely.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. God gives power to the weary and strength to the weak.

Ephesians 6:10-18

We were encouraged to put on the full armor of God and remain strong spiritually through prayer and faith.

Galatians 6:9

โ€œLet us not grow weary in doing goodโ€ฆโ€

A reminder to continue serving God faithfully because in due season we shall reap if we do not give up.

Closing โœจ

Motherโ€™s Day service was truly uplifting and inspiring. We celebrate all mothers for their love, sacrifices, prayers, and strength. May God continue to bless and strengthen every mother abundantly. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
