Background
Hannah Lecha Foundation was formally founded by Hannah and Lawrence Lecha in 2017. The foundation is a product of their love for people and their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. The core pillars of the foundation are youth development, rehabilitation of ex-convicts, advocacy for special needs children and people living with disabilities, advocacy against gender based violence on women and girls, women empowerment and creative entrepreneurship.
The Foundation aims to support women by advocating against sexual abuse and gender-based violence, as well as creating safe spaces to empower women. The Foundation also aims to empower the younger generation through academic excellence, youth development, and creative entrepreneurship. Hannah and Lawrence believe that everyone has unlimited potential that could be unleashed with the right support. They also believe that all people deserve opportunities to improve and grow themselves regardless of their past, especially demonstrated through their continuous work with the rehabilitation of ex-convicts.
