Good day everyone today we are going to share on maternal mental health and why it is important for pregnant and nursing mother to take care of their mental health.

21/05/2026

As we continue observing World Mental Health Awareness Month, our theme for this month is :" It' s Okay to ask for help ". In a World where many suffer in silence , we want to gently remind you that asking for support is not weakness , It is Courage. Healing begins the moment we speak up , reach out , and when we allow ourselves to be supported . Breaking silence.

Mental well being matters. dont have to go through it alone

Yesterday was eventful for Keitsholofetse office staff.

✨We had the opportunity of hosting FNB Botswana Kanye branch to share with us and have conversations on financial literacy/advisory. An important take was on budgeting, saving and insurance.

✨We also had Kanye SDA Hospital Psychiatric Department for mental health issues. We got to learn about the same coping mechanisms we preach in sessions but this time around? We were the ones practicing them! Go botlhokwa to meditate as they advised! Learn those positive affirmations! You matter!💜

💜April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month: a time to stand together, raise our voices and support survivors.

💜Sexual assault(rape, defilement and molestation) can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender or background. It is never the survivor’s fault. This month reminds us of the importance of consent, respect and creating safe spaces where individuals feel heard and protected.

Let’s commit to:
• Listening without judgment
• Educating ourselves and others about consent
• Supporting survivors with compassion and dignity
• Speaking up against abuse and harmful behaviors

💜Sexual assault can present as trauma to many individuals and trauma leaves an emotional scar. Part of being supportive is seeking help for those who have gone through sexual assault to help them deal with PTSD, anxiety and the depression that comes as after effects of the trauma. Seeking help for them means finding safe spaces for them and counseling/therapy is that safe space!

📍Keitsholofetse is here to provide you with that support through the process of recovery. Reach out to us on 📞74865427 or dm our page!

✨Together we can break the silence, challenge stigma and build a community rooted in safety and respect.
