Humana People to People Botswana is a socio-economic development organization, registered in 2001 as a Trust (MA 70/2001) in Botswana.

We implement 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬 with a focus on improving people' quality of life and the economy of their families. Some of the programmes implemented include 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐬, 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

We a grateful for the support from 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗰 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗮 who have made it possible for us to work closely with the communities of Selebi Phikwe, Mmadinare and Mapakata, as we support them in various skills development initiatives.

Last week Friday, we hosted 14 CSO's which will be implementing a project '𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬'; a comprehensive community-led project to reduce HIV and non-communicable disease incidence and improve health outcomes among 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐊𝐕𝐏) 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕; under our Coordination.

The session was aimed at inducting all the CSO's and ensuring that they appreciate each other to ensure smooth and collaborative implementation.

This initiative will be implemented across targeted districts through the scale-up of 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬.

During this session, all CSO's were given the platform to share their organisation's mandate, and achievements from the last financial year. Other key discussions emphasised the importance of CSO's working together for sustainability purposes and partnerships in delivering high-quality community-led interventions.

Together we remain committed to building resilient communities and advancing Botswana's response to HIV, NCD's and other critical public health priorities.

We are delighted to announce the release of our 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. This report highlights diverse initiatives led by people that have a transformative impact on their lives.

We celebrate the significant development milestones we achieved in 2025, which are essential for hope, resilience, and self-reliance. In total, 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟕𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 through 𝟔 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 implemented across Botswana.

Through our programmes, people’s lives were saved from preventable diseases; children and adolescents from disadvantaged families gained access to education; and families created structures to address common community challenges.

Following the football charity tournament we hosted previously in Selibe Phikwe, the Minister for State President, Defence and Security, Moeti Caesar Mohwasa , as well as DiKgosi, Government Officials and other stakeholders, visited our centre, 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 | 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐰𝐞, to appreciate what we do and the different facilities which continue changing the lives of people in the Selibe Phikwe Community.

Mohwasa appreciated our poultry; where we have a group of women from the community doing poultry farming, where they sell eggs as well as chickens to earn a living, make savings as well as support people in the community who need it the most. Furthermore, the Minister appreciated our 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 which was established by Fondation Orange, and is currently being supported by Scatec Botswana.

This initiative continues to change people's lives through empowering them in the areas of 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐬, 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧; where we have seen beneficiaries open businesses, enrol into IT courses and even some being employed, as a result of the skills gained from this initiative. Furthermore, early this year we had our first batch of graduates supported by Scatec Botswana, who successfully completed modules in the aforementioned areas.

Other facilities appreciated by the Minister include our sewing lab, garden as well as the children's playground for our informal play groups, which are open to all children in the community.

For many years, we have operated as a committed community development organization, with a core mission 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. By partnering with government ministries, local authorities, embassies and the community, we implement programs spanning education, health, youth empowerment, food security, and environmental sustainability.

This recent gathering at the Sam Sono Stadium was a clear demonstration of what can happen when communities, institutions, leaders, and organizations unite with a single purpose— 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝.

Once again, a big 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 to everyone who took park in this initiative's success.

Over the weekend, we hosted a charity football tournament at Samsono Stadium | Selibe Phikwe, which saw multitudes come through to watch teams playing for charity.

'What started as a football gathering became something far greater, humanity in motion' - 𝐌𝐨𝐞𝐭𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐚

We would like to thank everyone who came to support this initiative. All the donations made will make a huge impact in the lives of people in Selibe Phikwe. Let us continue working together towards such generous events and ensure that our communities become better places.

Shout out to all the sponsors who contributed to this event being successful, all the local authority, dignitaries who graced the event, stakeholders and the community at large.

𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 | 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐰𝐞 is the place to be THIS Saturday, 23rd May, as we join hands with the Phikwe community in mobilising gently used clothing through a football tournament where local teams will be battling each other for charity.

Bringing us entertainment is the Dalom Kids, Culture Spears, Dr Vom vs. Diparo Diparo, and many more local talents.

Entre is 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄..... All you need to do is bring your gently used clothes as a kind donation and you will be granted access to the stadium.

Look out for our guest speaker, the Hon. Minister for Sate President,Defence and Security, Moeti Mohwasa.
