BEMA FORGES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BANGWATO TRIBAL ADMINISTRATION

Yesterday the Botswana Exporters and Manufacturers Association (BEMA) held a successful engagement at the Main Kgotla in Serowe, culminating in the forging of a strategic partnership with the Bangwato Tribal Administration covering all seven districts under its jurisdiction.

The partnership will be led and guided by Kgosi Kgolo, Former President, Lt Gen Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama, whose leadership, experience and commitment to community development continue to inspire initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of Batswana.

The collaboration seeks to unlock economic opportunities across the seven districts through enterprise development, indigenous knowledge, manufacturing, exports, youth empowerment, skills development, investment promotion, cultural and creative industries, agriculture, tourism and community-based economic initiatives. It reflects a shared vision of building self-reliant communities that actively participate in Botswana's industrialization and economic transformation.

BEMA extends its sincere appreciation to Kgosi Kgolo and the Bangwato leadership for their warm welcome, constructive engagement and commitment to a partnership that places people, productivity and prosperity at the center of development.

This marks the beginning of a journey that will bring together traditional leadership, the private sector, entrepreneurs and communities to create sustainable opportunities, stimulate local production, expand market access and drive inclusive economic growth across the region.
