Center Manager receives the Study Report
The Commonwealth Africa Anti-Corruption Center Manager Mr Mogolodi Rantsetse has received the Study Report on Typologies and Trends of Corruption in Commonwealth Africa. The Report was received on the 23rd April in Gaborone Botswana at the Center Offices.
The research project was executed under the expertise and guidance provided by a team of experts from Afro Barometer, comprised of Professor Mogopodi Lekorwe, Professor David Sebudubudu, and Doctor Wilford Molefe.
Members of the research team were from 14 countries (Botswana, Cameroon, Eswatini, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo and Zambia).
The purpose of the study is to introduce a distinct approach in combating corruption through the identification of corruption typologies across Commonwealth African countries and trends associated with those typologies. The established typologies and trends are expected to lead to the development and implementation of context-specific anti-corruption strategies that are effective and useful to countries that participated in the study.
This Study will officially be tabled and presented during the Annual General Meeting for Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa billed for 4th to 8th May 2026 in Yaoundé Cameroon.
Moreover, the Study will be published on the Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Commonwealth Africa (AAACoA) Website (www.aaacoa.org) on the 29th May 2026.
