Day 3 we are on collaborative leadership insights, Mr Guy Stehlik says he does not intend to be controversial but the reason why community, government and private sector partnerships almost always fail is because government partners and municipalities never step up to their role and when the project crumbles they look to private sector to inject capital in the projects which hardly ever take off. Can we relate ?

We are participating at the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum 2026. Yesterday we had B2B sessions after a powerful MICE masterclass and an Investment Roundtable. Today is the official opening of the event, officiated by Hon Patricia De Lille , minister of Tourism South Africa, Dr Phophi Ramathuba , Premier for Limpopo Province , and what is most humbling is before the minister took to the podium, they honored the support they received from Botswana when ATLF was in Botswana and the former Vice President gave the keynote address .
