Thank you for your valued interest in the PEOPLES EMPOWERMENT ORGANISATION. We are the Peoples for the Peoples Non Government Organisation which holds a general objective to promote young people's active citizenship by:
- Encouraging dialogue among the youth in addressing social issues affecting them.
- Encouraging initiative, enterprise and creativity among the youth.
- Promoting the excha
nge of good practices among the youth.
- Developing solidarity among young people to promote tolerance and thus reinforce social cohesion by means of giving young people the opportunity to express their personal commitment through voluntary activities to build the environmental community.
- helping young people develop and strengthen their life skills, giving special consideration to the most vulnerable groups (girls and young people with disabilities).
- improving the quality of life for those groups of people that are in the greatest of need, or those people that are disadvantaged and vulnerable living, within the local multicultural communities by looking for and creating innovative solutions to support and provide care services to the less fortunate and vulnerable groups i.e. Our head office is housed in Gaborone at Fairgrounds, Blue Mango, Plot 50667, Unit 11.
