Opening Hours: the shelter is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Adoption fees: BWP 900 for a dog, BWP 400 for an adult cat, BWP 550 for a kitten . Covers sterilisation, microchiping and vaccinations

Adoption rules: ALL animals will be sterilised, we do not support breeding. Home check applies to make sure the ne

w home is suitable for pets. Donations and Membership: we rely solely on donations, we dont receive any government funding. You can become a BSPCA member or donate any amount. We also appreciate in kind donations such as dog and cat food. BSPCA shop: the BSPCA shop is located in Broadhurst. You can find them on facebook. All goods sold are donated and proceeds directly benefit the shelter. There is also a large selection of books at the shelter itself. Emergencies: if you find a lost or injured animal please contact the BSPCA immediately

BSPCA Vet: our resident vet can only care for BSPCA animals. If your pet is sick please take it to a private vet. We can recommend one in your area. Cat traps: we do have cat traps which you can rent. We also to Trap-Neuter-Release, where the colonies are caught, sterilised and brought back to the area.

This little puppy was placed into foster care to give his burns a chance to heal. He was loved and cared for the way he should have been.

Once his burns had healed, he was sent to the vet to get his vaccinations, microchip and to be neutered.

Today he was adopted by the most wonderful family and they have named him Ben. We are so happy for little Ben and we know he will be well cared for and loved. ❤️

Meet Sandy!

Sandy is a female multeese poodle around 3years old. She has been fully vaccinated, sterilized and microchipped.

Sandy is very sweet and playful, she also has allot of energy .

She has already been to the grooming parlor but playing in the runs all day has gotten her quite dirty again, she could use a good bath.

Dusty is a male multeese poodle around 3years old. He has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

He is bossy, cheeky and very energetic. He has allot of energy .

Meet Mike!

Mike loves other dogs and is very playful. He is around 11months old and has been fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Mike was brought in as a stray. He was very timid but over time has really come out of his shell.

He has been at our shelter now for far too long and needs a loving home where he will be cared for properly.

Meet Jackson!

Jackson is only 2years old and he is very sweet and very playfull.

What I love most about Jackson is his great big floppy ears and his lovley personality. ❤️

He has been fully vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and microchipped and is now waiting for his forever home!

If you would like to adopt Jackson please come down to the shelter and meet him. We can then assist you with your application to adopt.
