Dear JCI South Africa Members, Senators, Partners, and Friends,

The JCI Botswana community is deeply saddened by the passing of Senator Nozipho Dlali, the 2019 JCI South Africa National President. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family—her husband, Senator Yabela Dlali, and their three children—and to the entire JCI South Africa family.

Senator Nozipho’s legacy of passion, commitment, and impactful leadership has inspired many. Her dedication to creating meaningful change, from her early role as Director for Peace Is Possible to her service as National President, will continue to guide future generations.

We share in your grief and pray that the family finds strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

On behalf of JCI Botswana, we stand with you in solidarity and remembrance of Senator Nozipho Dlali’s remarkable contributions to our JCI community.

With deepest sympathy,
JCI Botswana 🇧🇼

We had a powerful and information-packed session last Saturday with Coach Tumelo Masalila on “The Price Tag of Leader Training.”

He reminded us that everything worthwhile is uphill. To achieve greatness, you have to be willing to climb. The journey upward is not always easy, but it is always worthwhile.

Coach Masalila highlighted the sacrifices that come with leadership growth, including the commitment required to attend JCI international conferences and leadership development opportunities. True leadership development requires investment of time, effort, and personal discipline.

He emphasized that the leadership journey begins with self-development, followed by becoming responsible and learning to accept accountability. Along the way, leaders must cultivate integrity, become character-driven, and learn to organize their lives with purpose and intention.

It was a truly insightful session that reminded us that leadership is not accidental it is built through commitment, growth, and the willingness to pay the price for excellence.

The National Board's visit to Lobatse on Saturday, 7th, marked a significant milestone in the resuscitation efforts of JCI Lobatse. The delegation engaged with members, sharing a comprehensive plan of action and actively listening to their expectations, analyzing the chapter's needs, and collaboratively mapping a way forward.

The visit was characterized by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with impactful sessions that left a lasting impression on attendees. The JCI Discover training, expertly facilitated by 2024 IVP Rosemary Mothusi, equipped members with essential knowledge and skills. NT Galebowe's inspiring sharing of his JCI journey provided valuable insights, while Senator Neo Monwela's mentorship session offered guidance and support.

These engagements not only energized existing members but also sparked enthusiasm among prospective members, underscoring the chapter's potential for growth and reinvigoration. This strategic visit has set the stage for JCI Lobatse's resurgence, and with continued dedication, the chapter is poised to reclaim its position as a thriving and influential force within the JCI community.
