🌍 Calling All Change-Makers in Botswana!
Do you have a bold idea to protect our environment and empower communities? The Global Environment Facility – Small Grants Programme (GEF/SGP) in Botswana is inviting Civil Society Organizations, Community-Based Organizations, Cooperatives, and Academic Institutions to submit innovative project proposals under Operational Phase 8 Landscapes.
Your project could focus on:
✅ Community-based conservation of threatened ecosystems and species
✅ Sustainable agriculture & fisheries for food security
✅ Low-carbon energy access for a greener future
📍 Target landscapes: Makgadikgadi Wetland System, Bobirwa Area, and Panhandle of the Okavango Delta
💰 Grant amount: Up to USD 50,000
📅 Deadline: 26 January 2026
