WE’RE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE! | EmpowerHer Build Lab 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Genara Nakaluzwe, representing Tour de Force Green Initiative (TFGI), has been selected among the Top 10 Innovators for the EmpowerHer Build Lab 2026: From Prototype to Prosperity

Genara will be representing TFGI through her innovative solution, ECO-TECH, as she joins a 30-day intensive incubation program designed to help young innovators transform their ideas and prototypes into scalable, investor-ready solutions.

The program, delivered under Girls in ICT and STEM and supported through the Zanaco Innovation Lab, brings together an exciting ecosystem of partners including Zanaco, IWMI, Levelbuild Africa, ZRDC, UNZA, UNZAICT, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Through mentorship, technical support, business development, user testing, financial training, and investor connections, Genara will have the opportunity to further develop ECO-TECH and strengthen its potential to contribute to a more sustainable future.

At Tour de Force Green Initiative, we believe that young people are not just beneficiaries of the future we are the innovators building it.

We are incredibly proud of Genara and excited to see her represent TFGI on this platform. We wish her every success as she takes this next step in her innovation journey

Climate Advocacy Has No Boundaries.

Yesterday, Tour de Force Green Initiative took climate advocacy beyond the usual spaces and into the church community through our Youth Climate Advocacy Program at Harvest Reach Church in Livingstone, Zambia.

We believe climate education should reach everywhere people gather schools, communities, churches, workplaces, and beyond.

The climate crisis affects everyone, and everyone deserves the opportunity to understand what climate change means, how it impacts our communities, and most importantly, what we can do about it.

Through this initiative, we are introducing a new approach to climate awareness: taking the conversation to where people are.

We are proud to be pioneering climate advocacy within faith communities and creating spaces where young people can learn, engage, and become climate-conscious changemakers.
