**Death Notification of Ms. Stacey Sebele**

It is with deep sadness that The Myelin Foundation Botswana announces the passing of Ms. Stacey Sebele due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.

Ms. Sebele bravely battled this condition, and her resilience and spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Her contributions to our community and her strength in the face of adversity leave a lasting impact on us all.

Our thoughts are with Ms. Sebele's family and friends during this difficult time. We extend our heartfelt condolences and offer our support as they navigate through their loss.

May 30th marks and this year we commemorate the day under the theme .We remember those living with MS , those who have lost their battle with MS and those taking care of those living with MS.

At Village Imaging, we have had the privilege of supporting individuals on their health journeys, and Gomolemo Marumo is one of those remarkable people.🧡💜

Gomolemo, a proud Motswana woman, has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. MS occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective sheath (myelin) covering nerve fibers, leading to communication problems within the nervous system.

MS symptoms can vary widely, and in Gomolemo's case, she experienced vision problems, weakness on her right side, and at one point, needed to use a wheelchair. Her journey led her to many specialists, ultimately bringing her to Village Imaging for an MRI, which played a crucial role in her diagnosis.

We are honored that Gomolemo has chosen Village Imaging for her ongoing care.Living with MS is challenging, especially in Botswana where the condition is less common.

In response to this, Gomolemo has partnered with Active Hub Fitness Club to raise awareness about MS. Together, they are organizing an awareness walk on June 1st at GSS to educate the public about MS. We encourage everyone to participate and learn more about this condition.
