Pledge 25 club Botswana Pledge 25 is the club for young unpaid blood donors which promote the value of blood donation,positive ,risk free healthy life style amongst the youth.

Through Pledge 25 BW, young blood donors commit or pledge to donate blood atleast 25 times in their life-time, and to lead positive, heatlthy lifestyles. Young people who make this pledge generally commit to:
-donate blood 3-4 times a year
-recieve and discus their tset result results with a counselor each time they donate blood.
-remain HIV negative by adopting safe s*x practices(abstinence or co

nsistent condom use)
-recruit other young people to join Pledge 25 and donate blood.
-avoid and discourage the use of abusive or addictive substances. Our Goals at Pledge 25 BW are:
-to educate, motivate and recruit young blood donors.
-to promote positive and healthy lifestyles,and
-to achieve a pool of regular blood donors. the main objective here being to mobilize young people, mostly between 16 and 29 of age, to become safe, regular, voluntary non-remunerated blood donors.
