This Africa Pride Month, we celebrate the diversity, resilience, courage and contributions of LGBTQIA+ communities across the African continent.

It is a time to recognise the importance of equality, dignity, inclusion, respect and belonging, while acknowledging the individuals and communities who continue to create spaces where everyone can live authentically and participate fully in society.

May this month inspire greater understanding, solidarity and dialogue, and strengthen our collective commitment to building inclusive African communities where diversity is valued and every person is treated with dignity and respect.
