We are thrilled and excited to announce that the 2nd Annual I.K.K.O. TOURNAMENT AND OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS are now done and dusted! We want to thank Gaborone Deputy Mayor Honourable Lotty Manyapetsa for opening this amazing event for us! We also would like to thank Gaborone City Council for the gracious use of their Hall for this selection event. Our media partners BTV are always welcomed to attend our events, and we thank you for the television coverage. Daily News we also give thanks for your presence. We thank our International Governing Body, U.W.M.A.F. (United World Martial Arts Federation) for underwriting and supporting the affiliates member organizations of our National Body, B.A.B.U.S.A. (Botswana All Budo Styles Association). As we choose athletes from across our affiliate member body in the fields of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese Martial Arts to represent Botswana in World Competition, we pray that others will join us in the vision of taking African Martial Arts further into this Century. How so? By nurturing and encouraging open martial arts tournament platforms where ALL systems and styles converge to share ideals, skills, experiences and knowledge. This helps to plant the seeds for mutual respect, tolerance, patience, love, and understanding amongst competitors, building the leadership skills to take our country into the next generation! Good Morning, Students, Parents, and Community Supporters! As the year comes to a close, we do so with one of our affiliates, I.K.K.O. BOTSWANA, hosting their 2nd Annual Year End Open Championship on Saturday, December 17th, inside the Gaborone City Council Hall beginning at 9am. This event will be well attended by our current affiliates and will feature some of the best in young Karate and Chinese Martial Arts competitors from throughout Botswana! This will be a final warmup and testing ground before the Asian Continent World Championships to be held in Uttar Pradesh, India in January 2023. So come out and join us as we continue to strive for the unity of all martial arts within Botswana for the benefit of our country!🇧🇼🇮🇳
