Nyeletso Lehuma "Poverty Eradication Programme" Driven by the commitment for the provision of a dignified life to all Botswana, the Government has taken Poverty Eradication (PE) as the policy direction.

It is in this regard that PE Programme was introduced to improve Batswana Citizens' Livelihoods. The Department of Enterprise Development is hosted under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship established in 2022 as part of rationalisation of Government. The primary function of the Department is to create a conducive ecosystem, supportive of the growth of enterprises in Botswana.
