Giving back has always been important to me, that’s why I’ve partnered with Choppies Botswana for their Mother’s Day Campaign

Help me help the campaign by Inspired Horizons Association and build a culture of giving by heading to any Choppies Hyper Store (Game City, North Gate, West Gate or Phakalane) and donating toiletries for mothers and their family. You’ll find a box with my face on it.

It is true that "the hand that gives is the hand that receives".

URGENT HEALTH UPDATE: Protecting Our Little Ones!!!

To our Inspired Horizons family, especially our Young Mothers :

The Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs in collaboration with The Ministry of Health has announced a Nationwide Oral Polio Vaccination Campaign to keep our children safe from circulating poliovirus.
As part of our commitment to Sustainable Health and community wellness, we want to ensure every parent in our network is ready.

What you need to know:
📍 Who: All children aged 0–59 months (under 5 years old).
🗓️ Round 1: 5th – 8th May 2026
🗓️ Round 2: 8th – 11th June 2026

Polio is preventable, and these two drops are a shield for your child’s future. Let’s work together to keep Botswana polio-free.

Action for Our Mothers:
1. Mark these dates now.
2. Share this post with other mothers in your circles.
3. If you have questions about the vaccine, you can reach out to the Ministry at 3658423 or contact your local clinic.

More Than a Blanket – A Message of Hope

As winter creeps in and the chill deepens, far too many in our communities are bracing for cold nights without the basic warmth they deserve.

In the spirit of compassion, we are giving away 10 warm blankets to those who need them most, not just as a shield from the cold, but as a reminder that someone cares.

Here’s how you can help us make sure these blankets reach the right hands:

TO NOMINATE SOMEONE IN NEED:
1. Like this post
2. Follow our page
3. Tag 2 friends who believe in giving back
4. Comment with a short message of hope.

10 participants from our comment section will be selected to each nominate the one they would like to donate to.

Whether it’s a struggling elder, a single young mother, or someone quietly enduring the cold—help us reach them.

TO PARTNER WITH US:
We’re calling on businesses, NGOs, and individuals to join us. Let’s scale this love. More blankets. More lives touched.

Contact our Head of Programmes at Mr. Samuel Hussain at [email protected] or +267 71 694 154.

Thank you to Diagnofirm Medical Laboratories for standing with us in warming hearts and homes.

Let’s spread the warmth, together.

It’s Monday, and while the new week brings a fresh start, we know the "hustle" can often feel overwhelming.

In our journey toward Sustainable Health , we cannot ignore the immense pressure on youth to transition from education to employment.
If you are currently navigating career shifts, job applications, or the uncertainty of the market.
Remember: Your worth is constant. Your mental resilience is your greatest asset.

How to Protect Your Mind This Week:
1. Audit Your Expectations:
Be kind to yourself. A "pending" status is not a reflection of your potential.
2. Focus on Wellness:
Your mental fitness is the engine of your future success. Take time to breathe and reset.
3. Stay Connected:
Reach out to peers or mentors. Shared challenges are easier to navigate together.

Let’s Engage: What is one "win" you’re celebrating today that has nothing to do with work?

Sustainable Health is about building a foundation that lasts for the long run.

As we focus on community and wellness, Inspired Horizons is looking at what it really takes to achieve sustainable health for every youth in Botswana.

How do we do it?

1. Mind, Body, and Spirit Connection:
Wellness starts on the inside. Protect your mental space, get enough rest, and build resilience.
2. Focus on Prevention & Balance:
Address the root causes of illness and stress, not just the symptoms. Think balanced nutrition, environmental harmony, and natural care.
3. Community & Data-Driven Access:
We believe that access to healthcare and mentorship must be data-driven to ensure no child falls through the cracks.

Sustainable health is a collective responsibility, and we are stronger together!!!

What is one simple "preventative" habit you can start this week?
Let’s inspire a healthier community!!!

is a necessary conversation.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is not just a safety concern; it is a critical community crisis.

True "progress" means creating a future where every youth, every woman, man and every child can live free from stigma and fear.
At Inspired Horizons, we believe that 'Intervention' starts with a supportive community.
It means listening, validating survivors, and building trust in help systems.

Don't Forget the Boy Child...True progress means no one is left behind!!!

Empowering the boy child isn’t about competing for resources; it’s about investing in a balanced and healthy Botswana.

In our pursuit of gender equity, we cannot forget that our boys are facing their own quiet challenges.
From mental health stigma and a lack of positive male role models to educational disengagement, too many of our boys are being left behind.

Why this matters:
When we prioritize a boy's mental resilience and education, we are simultaneously investing in reduced GBV, stronger family units, and a more resilient economy.

When we lift our boys, we lift our nation!!!

How can we better support our boys? Share your ideas below.
Let’s start the conversation.

Today, April 7th, marks the World Health Day... a global commitment to health as a human right.

In 2026, the theme "Together for health. Stand with science" highlights a truth we live by at Inspired Horizons: Progress is only possible when we use evidence-based solutions to protect our people and our planet.

At Inspired Horizons, we are standing with science by:
1. Promoting data-driven health support for youth.
2. Partnering with experts like NAHPA and Tebelopele to ensure access to essential health services.
3. Building trust in science-led decisions to create a resilient future for every child.

Health is a collaborative journey. When we stand with science, we stand for each other.

Results day can be a mental health "red zone".

For many students this feels like a high-pressure "red zone."
As parents and guardians, we have the power to lower that pressure. It’s not about having all the answers, it’s about being the safe space where they can land.

Check out our 3-step guide to supporting your child today. Remember, their journey is unique, and one set of results doesn't define their entire horizon.

Not all young people lack potential. Sometimes, they just lack access.
Access to opportunities.
Access to mentorship.
Access to the right information at the right time.

At Inspired Horizons Association, with our programs like the Young Mothers support Network and Authi Tse Di Shapo we believe that when young people are given the right tools, they don’t just succeed, they transform their communities.

Youth empowerment is not about giving handouts.
It’s about opening doors.
And we are committed to opening more for them with our initiatives such as Rising Moms

The question is: are we doing enough as a society to support young people?

Your future is too important to guess.
Get tested early, know your status, and stay in control of your life.
Being young means being smart, take the step today.

Let’s be honest.
Many young people are trying their best…
But still struggling to find opportunities.

This is not just a personal challenge, it’s a systemic one.
That’s why youth empowerment must go beyond motivation.

It must include:
-Skills development
-Access to opportunities
- Real support systems

Here at Inspired Horizons Association, we are working to bridge that gap.
Because young people don’t just need advice, they need access.

Your background does not define your future.
Your access does.
And that’s what we are working to change.

Do you think young people are getting enough opportunities today? Comment and share with others.
