Gaborone Public Library and Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority will host a Consumer Awareness Session for the general public.
Objectives of the Session:
# Raise awareness of the Bocra Mandate
# ICT Consumer rights and responsibilities.
# Consumer related developments (SIM registration, SIM swap challenges, tariff adjustments)
# Complaints handling procedures.
# Online Safety (including mobile money scams and fraud)
# Basic Cyber Awareness tips

Venue : Gaborone Public Library (Gabs City Council Premises)
Registration: Please note that only 50 people are eligible to attend this session therefore you are REQUIRED to register to attend.

It is with heavy hearts, that Gaborone Public Library announces the passing of our Beloved Colleague Ms Ipeleng Keabetswe who worked as a Library Attendant since May 1990 until her passing.

All GPL Clients, former and current are invited to her Memorial Service to be held tomorrow, Friday 27th March 2026 at Gaborone Public Library (Children's Section) right next to Assemblies of God Church in Main Mall.
The service will start at 1400hrs.

Burial dates will be communicated in due course.
