DAY 3

From “LET IT GO," our past Sunday message by guest preacher Apostle Oscar, founder of In Christ Church, Pretoria, South Africa.

THE CHURCH IS MORE POWERFUL THAN WE REALIZE

The church is not simply a building. We are God’s dwelling place.
Sometimes a person does not need drama. They need the Word. They need a prayer. They need someone to greet them, listen to them, encourage them, or remind them that there is still hope.

Never underestimate what God can do through simple fellowship.
Someone may walk into church carrying a battle nobody knows about. Your kindness, prayer, encouragement, or presence can become part of God’s answer to them.

We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. We must affect one another positively.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for making us members of the Body of Christ. I bring every concern before You with thanksgiving and trust You to use my life as an answer to somebody else. Make me sensitive to those who need encouragement, comfort, prayer, and hope. Amen.

Declaration:

I carry the life of Christ.
My words bring hope, my hands serve, and my presence strengthens others.
God will use me to build His people.

SEPTEMBER – THE MONTH OF PROPHETIC LIVING

Main Scripture:

John 10:27 — “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

At It Is Well Church Int’l, September is declared The Month of Prophetic Living.

This month, we are intentionally learning to live as believers who hear God, know His heart, discern His leading, and respond to Him in obedience.
From Genesis to Revelation, we encounter a God who speaks. In the New Testament, through Jesus Christ, we have been brought into relationship with the Father and given the Holy Spirit who lives in us and leads us. Prophetic living, therefore, is not simply about receiving prophecies or predicting future events. It is about living in fellowship with God and allowing His Word, His Spirit, and His will to shape our everyday lives.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice.” Hearing God is therefore connected to relationship. We learn His voice by knowing Him, remaining in His Word, growing in prayer, and becoming sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

We are people of the Word and the Spirit. The written Word of God remains our foundation and standard. Whatever we believe we have heard must be tested and must agree with the truth and character of God revealed in Scripture.

Prophetic living must ultimately produce Christlike lives. It should lead us into greater obedience, love, holiness, service, encouragement of others, and deeper intimacy with God.

Our Monthly Emphasis:

This September, we shall focus on:

1. Hearing God Clearly

We will cultivate intimacy with God through His Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

2. Discerning and Testing

We will not simply accept every voice, impression, dream, or prophetic utterance. We will test what we receive and remain grounded in Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:20–21; 1 John 4:1).

3. Speaking God’s Heart

According to 1 Corinthians 14:3, prophecy should bring edification, exhortation, and comfort. We desire to speak words that reveal God's heart and build His people.

4. Responding in Obedience

Prophetic living is incomplete if we hear but refuse to obey. When God gives direction that is consistent with His Word, we must be willing to respond.

5. Representing Christ

Jesus remains our ultimate example. He lived in communion with the Father and sought to do the Father's will. Our prophetic lives must likewise point people to Christ rather than ourselves.

Prophetic Word for September

September shall be a month of prophetic sensitivity, alignment, clarity, and obedience.
We believe that as we intentionally draw closer to God, many will become more sensitive to His leading. Confusion will give way to clarity. Fear will give way to faith. Distraction will give way to divine focus.
The Lord is calling His people into deeper fellowship with Him.
This month, we will not chase manifestations while neglecting the One who manifests Himself. We will not pursue prophetic words more than we pursue God. We will seek the Giver before the gift, His presence before the platform, and His Word above our personal opinions.
We believe God will use His Word, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, prophetic ministry, godly counsel, and Spirit-led believers to strengthen, encourage, correct, confirm, and bring His people into greater alignment with His purposes.
September is a month to hear, discern, believe, obey, and become.

Prayer for September

Father, thank You that You are a speaking God and that through Jesus Christ we have been brought into fellowship with You.
As we enter this month of Prophetic Living, open our ears to hear You, our hearts to receive Your Word, and our wills to obey You. Ground us deeply in Scripture and make us sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Give us discernment to test what we hear, humility to receive correction, wisdom to recognize Your leading, and courage to obey when You speak.
Guard us from deception, pride, presumption, and the desire to make the prophetic about ourselves. May every gift, utterance, revelation, and manifestation among us exalt Jesus Christ and build His Church.
Let our lives become living expressions of Your heart on the earth.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Declaration for the Month

I belong to Jesus Christ, and I know the voice of my Shepherd.
I am filled with and led by the Holy Spirit.
I am grounded in the written Word of God.
I grow in prophetic sensitivity and spiritual discernment.
I test what I hear and hold firmly to what is good.
I will not be led by fear, emotions, confusion, or strange voices.
I hear God's Word and respond in obedience.
My words will build, encourage, comfort, and point people to Christ.
I discern the times and align myself with the purposes of God.
My prophetic life will not glorify me; it will glorify Jesus Christ.
This September, I live prophetically—hearing God, knowing His heart, and walking in obedience.
Amen.

DAY 2

From “LET IT GO," our past Sunday message by guest preacher Apostle Oscar, founder of In Christ Church, Pretoria, South Africa.

COME TO GOD WITH THE RIGHT HEART

People can come to church for many different reasons. Some come because they are hurting. Others come because they need provision, healing, relationships, or answers. But our relationship with God must eventually grow beyond what we need from Him.

Church is not merely a place we run to when problems arise. It is where we encounter God, fellowship with His people, receive His Word, grow as disciples, and become equipped for His purpose.
Come as you are, but do not remain as you are.

God wants to heal the broken, liberate the captive, open blinded eyes, and then raise those same people to become useful in His Kingdom.

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You receive me in every season of my life. I refuse to be anxious about my needs; instead, with prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, I bring everything before You. Change me, train me, and make me what You have called me to become. Amen.

Declaration:
I do not merely attend church; I am being discipled, equipped, and transformed.
I am becoming useful in the hands of God.

PROPHETIC ENCOUNTER SERVICE RECAP | 30 AUGUST 2026

What a powerful and life-changing Prophetic Encounter Service we had this past Sunday!

We were greatly blessed to receive the ministry of Apostle Oscar, Founder of In Christ Church, Pretoria, South Africa, who brought a timely and Christ-centred word on the prophetic.

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 20, we were reminded that in times of uncertainty, our first response should be to seek the Lord. King Jehoshaphat did not panic when faced with war—he turned to God in prayer and proclaimed a fast. We learned that not every fear is wrong; some fears drive us closer to God, while others pull us away. The difference lies in how we respond.

We also saw that God often uses one yielded person to speak His heart to many. The prophetic is not about exalting an individual but about God communicating His will to His people for their encouragement, direction, and strengthening. As believers, we are called to test everything by God's Word, receive what aligns with Scripture, and respond in faith and obedience.

We were encouraged that prophetic words are not given merely to impress us but to move us toward faithful obedience. Throughout Scripture, God's people experienced His intervention as they trusted Him and acted on His instruction.

Thank you, Apostle Oscar, for allowing the Lord to minister to us through His Word. We also thank everyone who joined us. May we continue to seek the Lord, walk by faith, and remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

It is well with us!In Christ Church

DAY 1

From “LET IT GO," our past Sunday message by guest preacher Apostle Oscar, founder of In Christ Church, Pretoria, South Africa.

LET GO AND RESPOND TO GOD

Paul testified before King Agrippa that he was “not disobedient to the heavenly vision” (Acts 26:19). He heard what God said, and he acted on it.

Sometimes we are waiting for another sign, another prophecy, or another dramatic encounter when God has already spoken. The issue is no longer whether God has spoken, but whether we will respond.
The Word becomes profitable in our lives when it is mixed with faith—and faith eventually produces obedience. Do not only celebrate what God has told you. Do something with it.
Let go of hesitation. Let go of excuses. Say yes to God.

Prayer:

Father, I thank You that You still speak, lead, and reveal Your purpose to us. Instead of worrying about how everything will work out, I bring my concerns to You with thanksgiving, according to Philippians 4:6. Give me grace to obey what You have already spoken. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Declaration:

I hear God, I believe His Word, and I obey.
I will not be disobedient to the heavenly vision.
What God has spoken concerning me will produce fruit.

Day 6 — Gratitude as a Daily Foundation

Main Scripture: Colossians 3:15 — “Be ye thankful.”

Devotional Passage:

Thankfulness is more than polite appreciation; it is a daily spiritual foundation. It strengthens the heart, brings peace, and helps us endure uncertain seasons. As we choose to remember God’s promises and declare His goodness, we learn to focus on what He has prepared rather than only on what the enemy is doing.
A thankful heart remains anchored in hope because God’s love and promises are unchanging.

Short Prayer:

Father, make thanksgiving a daily discipline in my life. Let gratitude anchor me in Your peace, strength, and hope. Amen.

Declaration:

-I am anchored in the goodness of God.
-His love is unchanging, His promises are trustworthy, and my heart is thankful.

Day 5 — Living From Christ’s Finished Work

Main Scripture: Colossians 3:3 — “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Devotional Passage:

Christ’s victory was accomplished before today’s struggle began. Prayer and thanksgiving are not efforts to persuade God to become good; they are responses to what He has already secured through Christ. Your life is hidden with Christ in God.
This truth gives you a stable identity that is not controlled by fear, the pressures of the world, or destructive patterns around you.

Short Prayer:

Father, thank You for the finished work of Christ. Help me to live from the security and victory You have already given me. Amen.

Declaration:

-My life is hidden with Christ in God.
-I live from His finished work and not from fear.

Day 4 — Thanksgiving in Every thing

Main Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 — “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Devotional Passage:

We are not called to call pain, loss, injustice, or hardship good. But we can give thanks in every thing because God remains good in every circumstance. His presence does not leave us in trouble, and His love does not change with the season.
Thanksgiving is an act of worship that declares that God’s goodness is greater than the difficulty before us.

Short Prayer:

Father, thank You that You remain faithful in every season. I receive grace to worship You in the midst of every circumstance. Amen.

Declaration:

-God is with me and God is good.
-I give thanks in everything.
