DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR RECOVERY JOURNEY

You’ve already come this far.
Before giving up β€” pause and remember why you started.
Ask yourself:
1. What has changed since I started?
2. Who is supporting me?
3. What goals am I still working toward?
4. What could happen if I stop now?

Difficult days do not erase progress.
Kindly:

πŸ“Œ Reach out.
πŸ“Œ Talk to someone you trust.
πŸ“Œ Ask for support.
πŸ“Œ Keep going β€” one day at a time.

Mental Health Monday πŸ’™

Men's Mental Health & Substance Use: Breaking the Silence

Many men are taught to be strong, stay quiet, and handle problems on their own. Unfortunately, this can lead some to use alcohol or other substances to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or financial pressures.

The truth is: using substances to numb emotional pain does not make the pain disappearβ€”it often makes it harder to manage over time.

It's okay to talk about your feelings.
It's okay to ask for help.
It's okay to not be okay.
Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This Mental Health Monday, let's encourage the men in our lives to prioritize their mental well-being and seek healthy ways to cope with life's challenges.

Healthy coping strategies include:
Talking to a trusted friend or family member
Seeking professional support
Exercising regularly
Practicing mindfulness and relaxation techniques
Joining a support group

Remember: You don't have to carry the burden alone. Help is available, and recovery is possible.

πŸŽ‰ International Day of PlayπŸŽ‰

As we celebrate the joy, creativity, and freedom of play, let's also commit to protecting our children from the harms of substance use.

πŸ›‘ **Think Twice Before:**
πŸš— Driving under the influence and putting young lives at risk.
🚭 Smoking around children and exposing them to second-hand smoke.
🍺 Selling or providing alcohol and other substances to children.
πŸ’Έ Sending children to buy alcohol, ci******es, or other substances ("Go roma bana").

Every child deserves a safe environment to learn, grow, and play.

πŸ’™ Let's be responsible adults. Protect their future. Protect their right to play.
