Taking the conversation to the community!

Mochudi, we heard you! 🇧🇼✨

The Bridging the Gap World Café brought conversations, questions, ideas and plenty of community voices to the heart of Mochudi! From Botswana Speaks and the Parliament stall, exploring how citizens can engage with Parliament, to lively discussions on public participation, gender equality and equity, and environmental protection, community members shared what matters to them and what they want to see change.

The energy was clear: Batswana want to be part of the conversation, not just hear about the decisions being made. 💬🙌🏾

And that’s what Bridging the Gap is all about bringing Parliament, CSOs and communities closer together to turn voices into action. ✊🏾🇧🇼

The initiative is implemented by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Botswana and the Botswana Centre for Public Integrity (BCPI), with the support of the European Union in Botswana and in collaboration with the BWParliament. 🤝🏾
