For someone who has repeatedly seen “driver’s licence required” stand between them and a job, a licence can mean hope renewed. It can open doors to earning an income, supporting a family and moving forward with confidence.

Through Goals For Change’s Drive to Opportunity, we are working to make that possibility accessible while nurturing responsible drivers who value their own lives and the lives of everyone sharing the road.

That extra mile can mean renewed confidence, safer mobility and a door opening to employment.

Some voices do more than speak—they help others be heard.

We are grateful for Thandie Malebang, presenter of 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐢 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐅𝐌, for continually using her voice to amplify our message and bring our work closer to the community. She wears many hats; a 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡, 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫.

Thandie also delivered the closing remarks at our 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦, adding her voice to a shared commitment to opportunity, partnership and safe mobility.

Thandie, thank you for believing in our purpose and helping others hear it. Every time you share our message, you create another chance for someone to connect, contribute and become part of the change.

Your voice is part of something bigger than ourselves.

That generous offer has stirred something in us. It reminds us of Marianne Williamson’s thought that when we find the courage to act, we can inspire others to do the same. “When we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Five people will now have a chance to work towards their driver’s licences. We hope The Best In Town’s example encourages more partners to ask: What can we do to open a door for someone?

Thank you, The Best In Town Driving Academy, for stepping forward. This pushes us towards achieving our commitment to helping a minimum 60 people to acquire their driver’s license.

More than a license

“We are not simply helping you get a licence. We are helping you earn a lifetime souvenir of opportunity, perseverance and possibility.

Because this is more than a licence.

The licence is the visible outcome.
Opportunity is the real destination.
And safe mobility is the path that gets us there.

That is what Drive to Opportunity stands for.”

SEASON 5 END
A remarkable 1,044 goals have found the back of the net in the English Premier League this season. But for Goals for Change, these were never just goals.

Each strike, each celebration, each moment of brilliance on the pitch became a seed of hope. Through the commitment of our members, every goal was transformed into a currency of compassion—a small pledge carrying the power to change lives.

While football fans celebrated goals, we saw opportunities. Opportunities to uplift, empower, and create lasting impact in our communities. Together, 1,044 goals became more than a statistic; they became a testament to what is possible when people unite around a shared purpose.

This is the beauty of Goals for Change: turning goals into hope, passion into purpose, and sport into social impact.

You are invited to next season
