Timmy has come a long way and is now healthy, happy, fully processed, and ready to find the forever family he deserves 💜🐾

This sweet little one-eyed boy is full of personality, affection, and has a wonderful way of making people smile.

He may only have one eye, but he doesn't let that slow him down one bit.

💜 CHOOSE NOVA FOREVER 💜🐾

Early this year, a little short and stubby girl quietly approached one of our catteries.
She was dehydrated, starving and unsure of the world around her.

We gently gained her trust, secured her and began giving her the care she needed. Food, kindness and love slowly started changing her world.

As the weeks passed, Nova slowly learnt that she was safe.

Then one day, something changed...
Nova relaxed.
Nova believed.
Nova finally felt safe 💜

Today Nova is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd x Basset Hound mix who LOVES people, adores other dogs and is good on a leash.

Her only challenge is cats, so she is looking for her forever home (no cats please) 💜

Nova knows what it feels like to be left behind.

Now she is looking for the one thing every rescue deserves...

A forever family where she will feel safe, loved and never left behind again 💜

Little Nugget 💜🐾

Some of you may remember Nugget's story.

Nugget was originally bred to be sold, but because of his little front leg, he was about to be PTS💔.

Thankfully, instead of giving up on him, he was given a chance 💜

From the very beginning, Nugget showed everyone exactly who he is - happy, playful, affectionate and completely perfect exactly as he is.

Today we are beyond happy to share that Nugget has officially found his forever family 💜

But there is even more happy news...

Some of you may remember little Tazz the kitten - and we are so excited to share that Nugget has joined the very same wonderful family 💜🐾

A beautiful double adoption and, even better, they are already getting on so well together.

We truly could not have wished for a more wonderful and special family for them. Seeing them welcomed with so much love means more than words can say, and we are incredibly happy knowing they will grow up surrounded by care, kindness and happiness.

Watching rescue journeys come full circle is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Look how far Simsim has come.

When she first came into our care, she was tiny and needed time, love and support to help her grow stronger.

Today, she is doing so much better - brighter, stronger, more playful and slowly showing us her little personality every day 💜

This is exactly why fostering matters. It gives animals the chance to heal, feel safe and simply be kittens again.

She is not quite ready yet, but very soon she will be looking for her forever home and we cannot wait for that special day 🐾

Until then, she is still growing and enjoying life in foster care.

Meet little Nugget 💜🐾

Nugget was originally bred to be sold, but because he was born with a deformed front leg, there were concerns he would not find a home.

Sadly, the discussion was leaning towards putting him to sleep 💔

Thankfully, instead of giving up on him, he was given a chance 💜

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing veterinarian who saw beyond his little arm and gave us the opportunity to foster him and help him find the loving future he deserves.

Because to us… Nugget is perfect exactly as he is 🐾

He is happy, playful, affectionate, and already stealing hearts everywhere he goes.

This little one-eyed Maltese doggie was found abandoned near a mall, after a kind lady noticed he had injured his paw 💔🐾

After being assessed by the vet, he was also diagnosed with TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumour) - a contagious but treatable cancer seen in dogs.

The good news is that with chemotherapy treatment, his prognosis is very positive 💜

His second round of chemotherapy was yesterday, and he is doing okay so far.

He deserves a chance 💜

Despite everything he is going through, he is progressing well and we are so happy to be giving him that chance.

TVT is sadly something we see far too often, especially in unsterilised stray and abandoned dogs.

This is one of the current rescue cases in AATFB’s care and he is presently being fostered and looked after by Chedza and his Mum SP, while he recovers and regains his strength.

As you can see, Chedza has become very fond of him and has named him Timmy 💜🐾
