AUTISM DAY EVALUATION REPORT

1. Introduction
Autism Day was commemorated on the 5th of April 2025 at the Nhabe Museum in Maun. The event aimed to raise awareness and promote understanding and inclusion of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within the community. The day was marked with various activities tailored for children and the general public.
2. Community Mobilization and Participation
Community mobilization efforts were successful in attracting a diverse audience which included:
• Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
• Government departments
• Private companies
• Schools
• The general public
The wide reach and collaborative engagement demonstrated the community’s increasing interest in supporting individuals with autism and related developmental conditions.
3. Resource Mobilization
Resources for the event were mobilized through generous donations from various organizations. Contributions included financial support, goods, services, and volunteer time. These donations enabled the event to run smoothly and provided necessary materials and support for the day’s activities.
