PANDAMATENGA SON FINDS JOB AFTER EMOTIONAL STORY TOUCHES HEARTS
A young man from Pandamatenga who recently opened up about his family’s desperate struggle has received a life-changing opportunity after his story reached the public through social media.
The 31-year-old lost his job four months ago and had been struggling to support his HIV-positive father, younger brother, and nephew.
He has now been offered employment at a leading pharmacy, health, and beauty retailer in Mogoditshane, where he is set to start work on November 17.
“I’m walking to the branch right now to sign my contract,” he said joyfully.
“If it wasn’t for this platform, I don’t know where I’d be today. I was depressed and had even lost hope in life. This is truly a blessing.”
His emotional story moved Every Child Is Your Child Foundation, which responded by sponsoring his trip back home to Pandamatenga and donating a grocery combo for his ailing father.
“I really thank God for this miracle. May He bless everyone who reached out,” he said.
The young man had previously shared that he was afraid of losing his father and brother after their health declined due to poor nutrition.
He had been staying with relatives in Mogoditshane, hoping to find work to continue caring for them.
Now, thanks to public compassion and corporate kindness, his story has turned from despair to hope — a reminder of how powerful it is when Batswana unite to uplift one another.
