The BAC Finance And Banking Society members had the opportunity to attend a panel discussion on Botswana’s Current Macroeconomic Outlook on Thursday.

Not only was it a very insightful and thought-striking conversation on Botswana’s economic policies, inflation and growth, but it was also a great privilege to interact with economic experts in our country.

Friday’s Financial Literacy Event💰

A big thank you to our guest presenting organizations NBFIRA, BSE, SCI Wealth, Lords Insurance, Access Bank, Stanbic. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise that we can put into practice.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated by asking questions & being open to learning. From the insightful conversations to the questions, discussions,it was a day filled with valuable lessons on money, finance, and building a stronger financial future.

This event was a reminder that financial literacy starts with learning & every small step towards better financial decisions counts.

A few days ago, members of the BAC Finance & Banking Society had the opportunity to attend a FinTech event hosted by University of Botswana QuARM Club exploring the latest innovations shaping the future of finance and technology.

It was a great opportunity to gain new insights, connect with fellow students, and see how technology continues to transform the financial industry in Botswana.

Last Friday’s the International Finance and Banking Year 1 Induction was packed with value, inspiration, and high energy.

Highlights included keynotes from alumni currently thriving in the finance and banking sector Mmapula Sedie and Clement Moaketsa alongside essential uni preparation tools and study guides generously shared by top achievers in Year 2 Nandi Ponto and Year 3 Ludo Kgamule.
Learning directly from those who have successfully navigated the path ahead sets a powerful standard for excellence.
