In Honour of World Children’s Day 🤍✨
As we celebrate World Children’s Day today, the Able Hearts Foundation is reflecting on our recent visit to Kedia Primary School, a visit that reminded us why this day, and this mission, matter so deeply.
Returning to Kedia for the second year in a row showed us once again that every child, regardless of their environment or circumstances, deserves to walk into school feeling comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. A simple pair of school shoes, a clean uniform, or basic hygiene essentials can influence a child’s sense of dignity and their willingness to attend school each day. Children in rural and remote communities are often overlooked because their reality feels far from our own, yet their dreams, potential, and joy are just as bright.
This year, we were able to support 61 children with brand new school shoes, full uniforms, essential toiletries, and sporting items to make both learning and play a little more enjoyable. Seeing their smiles reminded us why we must continue advocating for equal access and equal opportunities for every child.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous donors who made this possible:
Forviz Mazars Botswana, High Commission of India to the Republic of Botswana, Motor Part Sales Maun, Nortex Botswana, CA Sales Botswana, Fours Cash and Carry, Security Services and John Mackenzie School.
Your belief in these children helped open doors, restore confidence, and remind them that they are seen, supported, and deserving.
From all of us at Able Hearts Foundation:
Happy World Children’s Day. May we continue building a world where every child can learn, grow, and dream freely. 🤍✨
