The concept of โ€˜Nazhoen lamtoenโ€™ germinated in the beginning of 2013 due to live and distressing encounters with many vulnerable children and youths. The country has many vibrant other government and private institutions to provide services to many situations for the youth, but what about the after care services soon after their post released from Youth Development Rehabilitation Centre(YDRC) and

other similar facility. The studies has shown many children and youth eventually repeat the cycle and land up in square one, mainly due to to lack of after care services. Nazhoen Lamtoen challenges these kind of situation to break the cycle, through providing after care services through many life skills training to reintegrate these lost children and youth back into society as productive citizens. The Nazhoen Lamtoen organisation look forward to seek general public support to make our Nation a better society for the better future to meet our noble mandate.

A powerful short film on the redemption and journey of a child in conflict with the law, reminding us that every child deserves a second chance, hope, and acceptance.

The Return is an emotional short film that tells the story of a young boy who comes into conflict with the law after growing up in a dysfunctional home filled with domestic violence and neglect. Lost, angry, and searching for belonging, he makes choices that change the course of his life.

As he faces the consequences of his actions, the boy begins to realize the pain his mistakes have caused. With guidance, care, and refuge through social work support, he slowly transforms himself from a troubled child into a compassionate and beautiful soul.

The film highlights the importance of love, protection, rehabilitation, and second chances, reminding society that every child deserves hope and an opportunity to return stronger than before.

Khebisa and Laja Gewogs in Dagana can now look forward to an improved system for safeguarding childrenโ€™s well-being and protection. Nazhoen Lamtoen, a civil society, has implemented a project to strengthen the community-based child protection system in the two gewogs. Under the project, community members take ownership, form child protection teams, and identify and report child-related cases to relevant authorities.
