Fixing the Buddha, Fixing My Heart

Its been decade seeing broken Buddha wrap in old newspaper.
Cracked like the way I feel inside
There’s been a quiet ache I can’t hide.
so finally decided to give a try to fix it.
Cleaning parts slowly, as I recollect the last memories, I shaded I mourned
Each crack I filled and mend, I wished if I could do same to self.
I lost station, to report.
And as Today the statue comes back together to new form The Golden one.
Just like me — broken, repaired,
Still learning believe this Voids are really.
