Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed Between NPPF and HRAB
The National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) and the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Bhutan (HRAB) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership to strengthen social security coverage for Bhutan's hospitality sector.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief,and team from NPPF, along with the Executive Director, Board of Director, and Secretariat of HRAB.
This collaboration aims to promote greater participation of hotels and restaurants in NPPF's savings and social security schemes, ensuring that employees across the hospitality industry have access to long-term financial security and retirement benefits.
With more than 400 hotels operating across the country, this partnership seeks to proactively support the implementation of social security initiatives, enhance employee welfare, and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable hospitality industry.
HRAB looks forward to working closely with NPPF to raise awareness, facilitate implementation, and encourage member establishments to enroll and provide better social protection for their workforce.
Together, we are building a stronger, more secure future for Bhutan's hospitality industry.
