Mom At School has gratefully received a generous contribution of Nu.5,000 from a loving father in celebration of a very special milestone, his son’s first birthday, observed on 31/03.

The young celebrant, Kiaan Tejas Bhatarai, has had his first birthday marked not only with joy and love, but also with a beautiful act of kindness and compassion.

Mom at School has humbly received Nu. 10,000 today from Thinley Om, offered in loving memory of her late mother, Tshering Lham. It has only been three months since her mother’s gentle departure into Nirvana, yet her love and presence continue to live on through this beautiful act of kindness.

In honoring her mother, Thinley Om has chosen to turn her grief into compassion extending warmth and hope to children in need. This heartfelt gesture is not just a donation, but a reflection of a daughter’s deep love, respect, and the values her mother instilled in her. Mom at School has received Nu. 2,100 in remembrance of the late Mr. Chatra Bahadur Tiwari from Dagana, Goshi, marking his death anniversary. The donation was made by his daughter, Mon Maya Tiwari, who shared a heartfelt message: “May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his blessings continue to guide us always.”

She has also supported MAS in the past, extending her kindness to students in need.

Mom at School released Nu. 28,550 on 14/03/26, including a sponsored amount of Nu. 5,050, while Nu. 23,500 was utilized to purchase essentials for five needy students of Gaselo HSS. The fund was transferred to the school coordinator, Tee Dawa , for the procurement.

Mom at School would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsor, Ms. Shree Rai one of our long-standing supporters, for sponsoring a girl studying at Gaselo HSS, Wangdue. An amount of Nu. 5,050 was transferred on 13/03/26 to the school coordinator, Tee Dawa to carry out the shopping for the student. This same student had also been supported by Madam last year as well.

Mom At School has released Nu. 21,990 to , the coordinator of Gaselo LSS, for the purchase of school necessities for 11 students. Since most of the students had already bought the required items, the coordinator verified each student’s needs individually and purchased only the remaining essentials.Most of these beneficiaries have been supported by MAS since 2021.

Mom At School (MAS) has released an amount of Nu. 12,790 to Dr. Sonam Zangpo for shopping essential items for a Grade 4 student who has been enrolled as a boarder at Yangtshengatshel HSS,Thimphu.

The boy had previously dropped out of school as there was no one to care for him except his mother, who is currently admitted to Kidu Hospital as a cancer patient.

Fortunately, Dr. Zangpo came across the situation, and through his initiative we were able to support the boy with the necessary items so he can continue his education. As we always say, every child deserves an education despite difficult circumstances.
